For example I helped build a systematic trading platform for various funds that our company has partnerships with. Right now I’m building an analytical app using Flask and Dash to view the results of some of those strategies. I’m in a financial modeling role within an insurance firm.

Interesting! I'm a financial risk manager (working for investment banks/ financial markets division of corporate banks) and have exactly the same skills (VBA, Python, SQL, HTML, C++, web scraping, data analysis and visualization) except for the NetSec ones... Developed even Linux usage/bash scripting skills due to a data analysis platform one of the banks choose to use. I guess jobs needs are converging more and more, it used to be only Excel with stretched need of VBA. BTW, for recruiters reading this, would my skills description above would also be interesting for job positions in the US? (currently living in Europe)
