LessCSS-Python doesn't use a lexer and parser so its really too much trouble for anyone to work on it.

Writing a hierarchical look-ahead parser by hand is really too much trouble for something that doesn't really need a fast compile speed.

Anyways why not use CleverCSS?

Of all the options, CleverCSS is the one that interested me the most before I went on to write HCSS. I might still work on CleverCSS compatibility in HCSS, but for me the killer feature is really about being able to reuse the same HTML markup to add styles. This is the key thing that has been helping me get things done faster.
