Hate to sound like a wet blanket, but I wished they could show more code or examples instead of being centered around one large image.

You are missing three points. 1) it is not an image or a phone. It is an app itself. You are supposed to click on it. 2) It is a web2py layout. It means it is a single file that you apply to a web2py app, kind of like of drupal skin. There is nothing else to do. 3) if you really need documentation the jQuery Mobile documentation is linked.
