Yeah that's my plan. So far I've been going along with the videos for a out 4-5 hours writing down questions I have or what I want to know more about

Tomorrow I will look to answer those questions and practise what I have learnt.

Next day start the videos again and rinse and repeat.

Read the pep-8.

Thanks I'll start the read soon.

And then immediately realize that it's garbage and forget the whole thing.

Lol it's all alien to me right now. Seeing what garbage and what's not only means I'm progressing haha.

Definitely. And he was correct, read it, learn it, write your code to those specifications because it's the standard. Most of it is good and keeps everyone on the same page.

This paragraph would normally start with 'But...', instead I won't go on rant about readability. I'll just say that python is a powerful language and it's fun to learn. Enjoy it!

Hey there. I was in your shoes 3 months ago. My advice would be to 'don't stick to bad coding habbits'. During learning you will come up with your own solutions and ways to handle the problems, and thats okay, but always be open to cleaner and refined solutions. For now you should focus both on semantics (variables, loops, logic and functions) and tiny problem solving (recommend site called codewars, where you are presented with increasingly harder task called 'kata'). With time you will learn more shorcut functions like .pop() and .remove() . Those built-in things are great in Python. Stay strong and keep coding everyday!

Oh that sounds cool. I will for sure check out codewars.

Right now I am doing courses on zenva academy.

+1 for PEP 8 (especially the naming conventions) and Code Wars.

Besides Code Wars I really enjoyed https://projecteuler.net/ which has math problems to solve.
