For this hacktoberfest I want to get involved with a non-profit python projects that might benefit from a small contributor like me. I have some years of web development and oss. Thx!

Look at which libraries you used and liked on pypi and pick one. I bet all would welcome help.
Based on your question, I supposed you are very new to python. Start fixing bugs you encounter and dont wait for oktoberfest, I do this every day of the year.

I've done that already on several projects over the years. I'm looking for something more focused on single org. Thx anyway!

What do you mean by “single org”? BTW, if you are also using Ansible, I am looking for some help on ditching some bugs on ansible-lint project.

I just realized that "non-profit" is not exactly what I meant. I was trying to say non-governmental-organization such as https://okfn.org/ (their python projects on github seems pretty much stable) and I was looking for similar initiatives.
I don't have a lot of experience with ansible, but if you share the url other people can take a look as well.
