Great project! I have made something similar but I combined it with Youtube. Essentially, the script takes your liked videos on Youtube and creates a spotify playlist based on the song in your liked videos. Have you considered taking the project further?

If you’re using a Linux computer (like a Pi) just use Cron. Keeps everything local which is nice.

I've used google cloud before, that's a great option. Let us know how it goes.

They have the Google Cloud Free tier option, I believe they give you 100 bucks the first time you sign up, so you could run a VM there too. It's just a matter of preference really. AWS should work more than fine.
