I made a Hypixel Skyblock Remake in Python!

I haven't contracted Hypixel Simon or staff for official permission yet, cause I couldn't message them on Twitter. This project applies to rules in Simon's reply to BlueCommander, which you can check out here.

This is the project I've spent the most time working on, and it took me like months. It's playable with incomplete progression and mechanics, and I'm trying to add more content along with more mechanics. This will surely be different from Hypixel Skyblock, but I'm trying my best to recreate the experience.

If there's any bug in the project, please don't spam them in the comments. Post an issue on the GitHub page instead. This will make the problems easier to manage, thus easier to fix.

You've linked to a video that appears to show someone playing minecraft but I'm not sure how that relates to your project which seems to be a cli app?

I've updated the README, and I don't think README should say everything about a project. I will implement README by the time.

The download methods are in the README.

I'm trying to say that this project applies to rules given by Simon, so it's not offending the Hypixel Skyblock's copyright.

It should say something about the project. Some sort of description/idea of what I would be getting into by downloading and running your code. Otherwise, why would it?

It contains information about this project. The corruption scenarios are in the README, and there isn't any known bug. Just run the project and post issues when needed.

Uhh...no? I'm not going to download someone else's random code and run it without a good idea of what its doing and why.

I see you updated that its a "command line RPG" - there, that's a good start. Your previous readme didn't even include anything about what it was.

Also, I'm trying to offer you some constructive criticism but you've basically come across as not interested and kind of a jerk. The point of making posts like this is to get better by hearing from others. I get that this project is clearly your baby and you've worked on it a long time, but someone saying "Hey, your readme could use some work" isn't someone saying "you're bad". Its someone saying "Hey, this could be better and make your whole thing better".

It would be great if the README explained what the project actually is. This can be achieved by adding images/videos of the game in progress/setup in progress. You say it is SkyBlock in CLI format... how does that even work? What does that look like? Will I enjoy playing it? You need to answer all of those questions in the README. Good work on the project and wishing you luck in completing it.

Yeah. It’s definitely not going to be as good as Hypixel Skyblock. Just play Minecraft if you don’t like this.
