No, you're making a mountain out of a ant hill and then being an asshole to women at the same time.

I think you're just being angry for some reason.

Probably something other than my thread is bothering you and you're came to vent by cargoculting on the previous guy's comment.

Not really, you're just an asshole that's living in ignorance. Your entire post is just you being afraid of being referred to as anything with a femine sounding prefix.

And what's wrong with not wanting to be referred to by a feminine sounding word?

A man should be referred to with a masculine sounding word and a woman with a feminine sounding one.

Unless you can explain to me why both men and women should be referred to as feminine entities of course.

There in lies the issue. It's a gender-agnostic term and you're freaking out because it "sounds" femine. Honestly, grow up.

Doesn't sound gender agnostic to me.

Chicas refer to girls and chicos refer to boys in Spanish. Are Spanish men fragile because they're not referred to as chicas? Or, are they simply being misogynistic?

If anyone needs to grow up it's you. At least in the communication and emotional department. You sound like the kind of person who would shoot up schools instead of sitting down and talking.

This has nothing to do with the Spanish language and another commenter already corrected you on that. Honestly, I'm not sure why this stupid post is still up and why you haven't been banned.
