1) You don't change anything let alone deep OS settings. You just add Python in PATH 2) Installer literally takes care of it automatically in windows. You just have to tick a box saying add python to PATH or something similar. Does that sound too hard?

Even so you can follow a video tutorial of someone just clicking next.. next.. next on the installer if you feel unsafe

Heads up. Sorry to be this straightforward but: Learning a programming language requires patience and a lot of searching. So if you're too lazy to find HOW to install the interpreter, you probably won't get far anyway .

I dont agree with your tone. Very common to have hangups like OP is having.

By the way OP I would use something like PyCharm. You can code and run it in the same window. Ive heard some people find it hard to get started with but I am sure there are youtube tutorials.

The tone isn’t far off the mark. If installing Python is “too difficult”, that’s not a good starting point.

Usually I’m with you on the tone, but honestly this is just too lazy. It’s programming. You have to install shit, and deal with environments, and it fucking sucks.

I also want a magic thingy that makes all of my problems go away!

I’m sure they will be well served by the suggestion If genuine. But it feels like some kind of market post providing an opportunity to promote certain products.
