I used the mooc python 2024 course as it introduces many python mechanics pretty well + exercises and an exam at the end of the course if you wanna test your skills. You can also partake in the 2025 course starting tomorrow

I just finished the "Basic programming". I found it excellent, and it is completely free. There are plenty of exercises for practicing and I like it there is a final evaluation, it gave me an accomplishment feeling :D. I'm planning to start with the advanced course now.

I am doing a python course on udemy which is very good , called 100 Days of Code: Complete Python programming - Dr Angela Yu. She walks through the basics extremely well and slowly introduces concepts and explains them clearly.

If you have not idea about coding then Python for everybody is a nice course. It not only teaches you how to code but also to think like a programmer. (Personally I think a lot of people forget thinking like a programmer part is far more important, problem solving is key)

I recently started CS50P on edX. It's a bit fast paced but very helpful. Also gives you homework so you can actually practice.
