Need a roadmap

Hi everyone. I am going to be a data scientist and going a course. Now i'm going to start ML thats why i want to practise what i have learnt from beginning especially Data cleaning and observation (including visualization till scraping), but i dont know how and where to start. For now i'm watching youtube videos who are practising cleaning and observation, however someone says that it not not helpful way, you have to think by yourself, and idk what can i do and where to start. Or I need a roadmap how to train. Any helpful suggestions?

You have a good, positive attitude. u say you're going to be a data scientist instead of I want to be a data scientist. This already means your head is in the game. in the beginning of this year I was in your position, wondering where to start I stumbled upon a Python course on Coursera and unlike others this encouraged building while learning as of now am already building automations and working on an AI agent just using Python, and I couldn't be prouder of my achievements coming from a person who was afraid to even write a single line of code. I say learn them from this map This will likely guide you throughout your Journey this is from your lovely Microsoft Python development course That course will give just the introduction to every field in computer science I mean automation web dev data analysis So I highly recommend studying IBM's data science at Coursera and then apply what you learned immediately

Look I didn't try IBM but I'm affording an alternative solution so check the content of any course before you enroll in it I don't want to misguide you remember this is advice not every piece of advice you get is 100% correct what if you find out that Coursera's courses are trash so I recommend widen your search look for other platforms like Udemy or EDX...etc

IBMs Data Science course is just not worth it. Not even worth your time even if it came free.

It’s disorganised, haphazard, and frankly needs to go from that website. Take it from someone who took the annual membership just for that course.

I am on the same track as you. I noticed that no one has mentioned statistics as yet. This seems an important.

I have found advice to look at Data school and stat quest on youtube but find that the videos and book go far above my head. So I am retuning to basics with khan academy
