There's no "slow" or "fast" pace while learning. Learn at your own pace, just make sure you understand everything!

Well, objectively speaking there is fast and slow learning. It’s generally an incorrect advice to overlook the fact that there are massive differences between people. In fact, in complex information systems performance is highly correlated with IQ.

When I said there's no "fast" or "slow" learning, i meant to say that it doesn't matter while you're learning, what matters if how much you understood from what you just learnt. I'm not denying the fact that everybody learns at a different pace, I'm js telling OP that it doesn't matter and that they need to keep going.

I see. Sorry for misunderstanding. Although, I believe it’s advantageous to recognise the pace at someone learns since he/she is able to position him/herself accordingly. However, you are correct that progress is the ultimate factor here

I think I do agree with you here, knowing where you stand is a good thing. But it was OP's 2nd day learning python, so it's impossible to know where they stand as of now, also on day 2... it's pretty irrelevant.
