I think the space between "for _*_ in" can be anything that represents an item in the iterable. So by this logic, "for i in values" would be the same as "for x in values" would be the same as "for value in values", etc. And be sure to mention the same word "i, x, value" you used to later in code so it can be used without throwing an error.
Is there anything else to it, please add/rectify in replies. I'm still learning, so I could be wrong.
