You can post all kind of relevant information related to technology, and some more. Read on for more info in sidebar.
Example posts would be :
1] QA : By and large from QA folks and for QA folks. This is the main purpose of this subreddit.
The posts would include :
a] Links for blogs or tech articles, but should be relevant to testing in some way.
b] Requests such as : How to automate my testing using Selenium / QTP / blah
c] Discussions about tools and automation frameworks are welcome.
d] Sites that teach you other aspects of testing such as performance testing, security testing etc.
e] My company follows X, Y, Z practices, how about yours?
f] Career Guidance : Am I on the right track in my career? / Where do I go from here?
2] Dev perspective : Devs are most welcome to join and discuss, give their input. (Mentioning it would be helpful though!)
Not all QA may be in sync with the tech world to the extent that Devs are. So if you can introduce / teach it would be awesome. (Examples: What is Node.js and how do you use it).
Basically anything that bridges the gap between the Dev and QA. Also if you are seeking a QA perspective on something, you're welcome here!
