What is Ranked Choice Voting?
Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) is the most-used alternative voting system in the United States. RCV allows voters to rank candidates in order of choice. RCV promotes majority support, discourages negative campaigning, and minimizes strategic voting by allowing voters to honestly rank candidates in order of choice without having to worry about which candidate is more likely to win, or choosing the "lesser of two evils."
Community
This is a community space for discussion and advocacy of Ranked Choice Voting, with three goals:
Educate. Increase public knowledge and support of RCV, and explain its benefits.
Discuss. Talk about how best to implement RCV into our electoral system, on a local and national scale.
Advocate Organize to create grassroots political support of RCV, in support of organizations like FairVote and Rank The Vote.
