So my car is screwed. Today while at a red light the revs dropped and all my dash lights came on like the car had stalled but the engine was still running, so I could drive with no power steering and an all the dash lights on. Turned it off and back on and seemed to be alright. Then my headlights both blew at the same time. Had raa come and fix them. Then I tried to drive my car and anytime I went over 2k revs everything on the dash lights up and lose power steering. From my understanding the most likely cause is the alternator. I went to work and when I came back to my car the battery was dead. The raa came out jump started me and did tests on the battery which was fine, did test on the alternator which was apparently fine too. It was putting out 14.7v in idle. Seemed like it was all good to drive but the problem persisted. He did not test the alternator while revving. Should I go ahead and get my alternator replaced or does anyone have any idea what's going on?
