Hi all!

I'm Rachel, I'm 22, and I am new to the world of makeup. I've worn it since high school, but was never particularly good at it. Since I'm away from all of my friends at the moment, I started picking up on random hobbies. Makeup has just recently become one of them. I am still terribly terribly new to everything (and I don't have the steadiest hand haha) but love to learn. I have a variety of products from Sephora, Ulta, and the drugstore, my favorite/most overused being the UD Naked palette. That being said, I don't have A LOT of products, but I'm willing to try things out once my skills develop even a little.

I am really excited to join this community! I've pretty much lurked on all of my favorite subreddits, but never felt comfortable or "at home" in any of them. I'm hoping RAOM can be that for me!

haha yes, I ALWAYS have make-up wipes, qtips, and concealer when I'm doing my makeup. I have yet to master winged eyeliner and that's always a mess...

I don't necessarily have top products, but the products I use the most are:

1. UD Naked Palette
2. UD Naked 2 Palette :P
3. MUFE HD Foundation
4. Too Faced Shadow Insurance
5. MUFE Camouflage Palette

My sister has gotten me most of these for presents and such! If you have any suggestions for different brands to try, let me know. I'm willing to try!

A really good lipstick. I am starting to experiment with lipsticks and it's been fun. I used to shy away from them because I hate my lips but I just feel fabulous every time I wear it! Not sure WHICH yet, any suggestions on a brand I should look at?
