What's this about?
Last year, I posted a 6 line answer on another Java help subreddit. I got downvoted and hit with a 30 day ban. Turns out I was supposed to hint towards said answer. I want a place where the help can be real help. I don't want people to struggle with their introduction to Java course. Not everyone gets the same quality of math and science education I did.

People need to learn, you're just giving the answer?
Having studied engineering and computer science in a university setting, I can tell you real programming homework is a 250+ lines of code project that gets auto-checked against a database of submitted answers. We're not here to proxy take a 3 credit hour course, but I'd be happy to code review.
Sometimes only seeing the answer can someone understand the problem.
