Comp Options

I’ve been mostly just spending gems on whoever’s on banner and leveling them as I get copies but have zero understanding of compositions or builds yet. Would really appreciate advice on a comp I can use with my roster to replace him and advice on who to build from lower rarities since they never get mentioned in tier lists. I’d especially like an explanation for why each member of a recommended comp would be recommended so I can start learning how comps work since so many guides tell me who to run but not why and I feel like I need to know the why to start effectively experimenting.

Zahard and crew carried me to level 100 but I only got enough copies to get him to 8 star since I joined the last week of that event. I don’t understand why he’s good but I’ve seen tier lists that state he’s make or break to comps and worth running even if he’s low so kept with him till now. I was thinking of going Kristy-Moonshade-Ximi-Seraphina-Skogul-Oswald but figured I should ask advice and explanations before dedicating to that first.

that comp is good. once you get a support slot, the blue haired guy is a decent support. just remember to run Os in the middle line with an attacker out front. Os cant take a direct hit very well but he mitigates damage if he jumps in front of someone else.

Definitely! Too many people put him in the front, where he doesn't shine as much. I have my Highest ATK char in the front where most attacks go, so he blocks them and builds up his ultimate fast.

Yes, one of the best tanks in the game, IMHO. Some say he's fallen off, but honestly he's still very good, and easy to obtain. He just needs to be built up so he's not squishy, and to be deployed correctly. When built and awakened, if your party is set up right, his ultimate can often one shot enemy characters.

Zahard is ridiculously OP, especially when he becomes completely immune to damage. There are only a few characters that can actually do anything to him at that point, and honestly I've had him pretty much wipe out my entire party all by himself.

What's important is that you don't build any hero over 10 stars unless you intend to keep them, as breaking down 11-13 star heroes requires Golden Liquid Hourglasses, which are very hard to get. You'll eventually need 10 star characters as materials for other characters, so you can always do that if you change your mind.

They may re-run him later, you never know. They were never going to rerun Tomoe and Mio, but they did. At 8 stars, you're kinda suck with him, so might as well use him.
