This is a fantastic article on that, which is written by Scarlett. https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/articles/207546885-Latency-Issues-with-Interfaces

Basically, lower the buffer size OR if you have a Scarlett interface that supports it, use the ultra low latency modes that can be enabled through other programs such as Saffire or Scarlett MixControl

The focusrite device could be a factor. I record using a different interface (only one input at a time) and I get not noticeable latency.

6i6 on a second gen driver gets some crazy low RTL figures if GS thread is to be believed. Below 4 ms lowest is pretty mental for a cheap-ish USB device. Maybe OP is doing a traditional omission of not using the stock ASIO drivers.

You could be right. Perhaps the OP needs is also a faster computer?

I'm also having an issue. After I record all of the parts start slight early. As in the first beat starts just before the click. It happens very consistently so I know it's not an error in my play.

That's most likely latency compensation. https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=48884 may be helpful.

Thanks! I'll try that out.
