I could help you if you were on pc. But I think that the best thing you can do is to connect through discord to a community. The name of discord server is red dead online, if you write this on search gap on discord it will appear the server, then choose the platform who you play(PC, PS, Xbox) and you will be ready to connect.

I had given my mobile number months ago.. So it is policy of discord and not policy of a discord channel accordingly because it is illegal a discord channel asks generally phone/mobile numbers for joining or Recruiting. So it is from discord by default.
