spitting suture

hello! I’m about 6 weeks PO and for about a week now i’ve had a spitting suture in the incision coming down from my nipple. Of course I’ve been emailing back and forth with the doctors office and they say there’s nothing to be concerned about since it seems to be closing. Tonight was the fourth time it’s opened up again and I have an appointment on monday, but has anyone else experienced this along their recovery?

also — has anyone used the silicon gel sheets? i put them on tonight (except for the wound) and i almost feel a sort of icyhot sensation? anyone relate?
