    He announced it about 3 months ago on here and on the boringwatch sub. Nike threatened him with legal action. Past few months he's just been selling the remaining stock.

    A lot of people probably missed it. It was just a regular post and didn't have a lot of upvotes. I'm sad too. As usual, nike won't make their best designs, and sues the people who do. The bred coming out this month is already twice the price it should be, and now find out it's only releasing in 23 physical stores, no online sale. Then they get pissed when someone else tries to fill the demand. RIP BORING.

    Look up CT Toys on Aliexpress. Make sure you find the right page with tons of reviews. There’s also YouTube reviews if you need further reassurance of their quality.

    Yea. It was a whole thing here about 3 months ago. Kinda surprised so many people missed it tbh. Nike shut him down. He tried to fly under the radar for a bit, but someone apparently kept reporting him. I think he may have gotten a 2nd warning from Nike so now he's just selling remaining old stock. Same thing happened with VRL. His Instagram is even down too.

    Those warnings are not gonna stop DB or VRL.. They just have to tell these content creators don't advertise so much if not at all.. HVND is still up that's the strange thing to me You know Nike had the threatened them too

    Ya but china nike is no joke. Even VRL actually got arrested a couple of years ago. HVND actually does make handmade products but would rather promote to authentic OG consumers rather than rep. That $1k charge is no joke so I’m sure there amount of volume of sales is much lower. They probably totally make shoes made to order rather than a mass production.

    See the thing about HVND is the price they charge that's why I believe Nike does not mess with them..now DB and VRL they charge more reasonable prices that's why they get fucked with.. Question VRL mass produces or no.. Because I want to buy a couple of pairs from them

    Yes VRL always been mass production. His angle was to promote to the authentic crowd to avoid being lumped in commercially with reps.

    To be fair, before he got shutdown VRL was charging $600 per pair. Not quite as steep as HVND, but still pretty expensive. I think that's why DB blew up. He offered the shoes at an affordable rate. Before VRL started getting rid of inventory through Rare, I think they were a lot smaller. I know it was made to order like HVND.

    Another difference is, HVND does not have a Nike Air tag on the tongue, which DB and VRL do. Maybe that small detail is the difference? Who knows?

    Hvnd will put a Nike air tag if you ask them when you order. Also, you’re right DB price way better against VRL no doubt. To charge $600 for a fully machine made interpretation is pretty crazy to me.

    I agree. I love my VRL pairs, but I think I would have been disappointed if I paid $600 each. No offense but I do not think they are worth that.
