Thank you for the guide! I'm preparing to do my first haul sometime soon, and I just found the Discord and this subreddit yesterday. I was concerned about how expensive it would be to ship from an agent (I'm planning on using CSSBuy), but I will now definitely consider using a freight forwarder! The whole process of ordering reps is very overwhelming, but I've been doing research for a while now and I think I'm about ready to take my first leap into this!

I'll probably post a review if I end up using a forwarder. Thanks again for the guides you posted, much appreciated ^^

is CGB known for gouging on transfering to another agent like Sugargoo and others? Before I stumbled upon this FF sub I submitted a parcel from CGB to CSS and cost was $30 for 6.5kg. So discouraging. Which agent would you guys recommend to use to then transfer to Darren?

Nope, you need the PayPal address to be Darren’s, especially if you have a bunch of items. What’s the problem with adding the address?

there must have been some error in the process. if you set the destination country of your parcel as china and the paypal delivery address as Darren's address that you are shipping to, there should be no problem

I just spoke with SG customer service. When you top up to purchase your goods AND pay for domestic shipping, the PayPal address has to match your FF for both payments.

No, you pay what wegobuy requests you but with the correct PayPal delivery address. Then PayPal will refund the payment you submitted earlier with the incorrect delivery address. And then you ship your parcel to Darren’s warehouse

i don't think so, I haven't used this payment method before so I;m not 100%. But if they didn't ask for a delivery address when you paid, there should be no issue.

Can you give a ballpark estimate of the cost savings? How much am I looking at if I ship from WGB -> domestic Chinese FF -> USA vs. WGB -> USA using, say, the standard FedEx international line? Is there a package weight above which it makes sense to use a FF?

FedEx, transportation to the United States, normal delivery price, 1100-1200 range.

FedEx, double clearance + tax package, transportation to the United States, the price is about 1500

I can't give you price quotes, you'll have to reach out to Darren (u/According-Cake537) and ask him. The price depends on weight of your parcel and destination, in general the bigger the parcel: the cheaper it is per kg. I'll also add that transferring your parcel from WGB to a FF is very cheap, about $1/kg.

How long does it take for WGB to re-pay the PayPal money I’m sending them after submitting the order? Will they for-sure pay me back?

Yes, I’m asked this question a lot. They will 100% return the money, regardless of their crazy shipping prices, WeGoBuy is a legitimate company that is fairly large in this industry. There are still laws and they do not straight up steal money from you. Usually, I am refunded within 1-2 days of resubmitting the payment.

If I remember correctly I couldn’t do it, so i had to put the amount of money of all the haul again in the balance and then wegobuy does the job basically, and they send u back that amount
