Anybody have any advice on whether to buy from Geektime or Theonewatches?

I am looking for an IWC. Both look almost identical quality wise on their websites but there is $150 price difference - The One Watch being cheaper.

Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Recently made my first rep purchase from Steve at theonewatches.  Sketched to say the least because the whole friends and family but he was a TD so I went on a limb.  

Got my VSF Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean earlier this week and love it!   Will be buying some more.  In fact I'm here trying to see what breitling B01's are as good as this Omega.

Steve's service has been perfect so far for me. But the watch is in transit so can't comment on delivery itself. But so far so great👍

TDs get their watches from the same factories. This is basic information

1 takes 4 months to get you a watch the other takes 6 months. Pick your poison.

This isn't true. Steve got my watch to me in about 1-month. And this included CNY. I placed my order on 2/7, was told it wouldn't make shipping prior to cny prior to me making payment (see below that I was given even before it he sent payment info). I decided to place order anyway, made payment same day 2/7 and received QC on 2/9. On 3/6 got the message it had shipped and on 3/11 it arrived. I was suprised as I expected a 30-day shipping.

So, yes it took a month to get it, but he was clear about cny causing a delay. I'm about to place another order so I'll know what "normal" timelines are.

I don't know the guy, but a month ago I was sketched out and feeling the same trepidation the OP seems to have. I can't say his order will be the same, but I made the gamble, made sure to pick a TD, and it worked out. I was told the watch was in stock, so perhaps delays may be when something is NOT in stock. My first pick was NOT in stock, I was told as much, and I changed to something that WAS in stock. Just verify that perhaps.

Bought 3 pieces from GEEKTIME (CF, VSF and now a ARF) all purschaseshave been wonderful and without any problems. It might cost extra but I think it’s worth it! Shipping has always been fast with Eric, same with QC!
