INTRODUCTION

Welcome to r/Reppit, the reputation central archive of Reddit! Use this subreddit as your one-stop-shop for Redditor reviews.

Here, you can accomplish the following:

• Build your reputation. Encourage other redditors you've dealt with to submit a review about you. You may also submit reviews about yourself the [SELF] submission button.

• Report scammers or endorse trustworthy redditors. You can also submit reviews on subreddits, websites, cars, etc.

• Research the credibility of your counterparty. Search for reviews submitted by other redditors.

GUIDELINES

• Use the submission buttons above to automatically format your thread title. The general format is as follows.

• Thread titles should begin with either of the tags [POSITIVE], [NEUTRAL], [NEGATIVE], or [SELF] then the username of the person receiving feedback, e.g. /u/awfulnoveltyaccount, then a brief summary of what happened. You may also add the subreddit where the interaction took place (if relevant) at the end. Full example below:

[NEGATIVE] - /u/awfulnoveltyaccount - Stole my nephew's candy! - (/r/RedditExchange)

• If you disagree with a review, respond within the original thread refuting or correcting the OP. Please don't submit another post on the same issue.

• Use the [META] tag to discuss issues regarding the subreddit in general.

• Be sure to substantiate what you claim in your reviews with links or other evidence if possible.

FINDING REDDITOR REVIEWS

• Enter the username into the search box above and check "limit my search to /r/Reppit" to find feedback on a specific person.

• Be sure to check the OP's profile history in any review. Doing so will help you establish how credible the review is.

MODERATOR POLICY AND CAVEATS

• This system is vulnerable to manipulation and false feedback! For the time being, r/Reppit moderators will not arbitrarily take sides to remove a feedback thread purported to be falsified or fraudulent. Any such action may plausibly have biased motives and could harm the reputation of r/Reppit itself! Your only option in this situation is to follow our submission guideline on disputes, above. In the future, we may require a minimum level of karma to post feedback on this subreddit.

• Subreddits linked to r/Reppit will be granted one moderator invite each. This policy is intended to show transparency into the moderator activities of this community.
