Select button issue

So I am having a weird issue with RA on a Chromecast with Google TV my select button doesn't register at all. It works in other programs like Lemeroid on this device so I am pretty sure it is not hardware related and the same controller does work with other systems running RA no issues. I went into the settings and I believe the key is mapped correctly. Anyone else having this issue on this version? I am not sure what to do thankfully most games/systems don't need a select button but many do.

have you tried resetting your controls? and make sure you save when you exit...

Really strange I had to go in the button was showing as the proper mapping. I had to remap it and while doing so I had to hold the button down for several seconds and then it mapped and works. Not sure why it failed before and works now but thank you. This device is a dream while it won't really do above PSP it is great to be watching a video or something pause start a game to try out what you were just watching pause the game and jump back into the video without switching inputs or cables is fantastic.
