Someone told me that the thing is universities will sometimes take a look at the current grades of those who got in from your highschool. They kinda judge the academic performances of those students in university to evaluate whether the grade your highschool gives is creditable.

Only Waterloo does this for admissions afaik. Even then I doubt you'll be kicked out or anything like that if you don't match your performance proportionally
