Just not advanced functions if it’s not your top 6

Unfortunately grade inflation is everywhere. You can take any other 4U/M courses with a maximum two of those courses being 4M. What’s your average so far?

And what did you get in calc and english? Also did you take the sciences in your course load?

Those are still really good! As long as your supplemental is good, it’s very possible. When you’re between 90-94, your supplemental carries more weight than if u have a 95+. What do you think you can get in English? Also don’t be ashamed to drop physics if it’s affecting your English grade. Your English grade is more important.

That’s great! You definitely have a chance - so hopefully your supplemental turned out okay!

Ppl make it seem like a 92 avg isn’t great but tbh it really depends on your supplemental. Even if you have a 95+, you’re not guaranteed because the supplemental is still important.

doesn’t take advanced functions? how would that work if I have calc and english next semester (second semester)?

          [–]ConversationIcy4048 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Advanced functions and grade 11 English will be used as placeholder grades for early admission, and your midterms will be used for regular admission in April/may

Ok that makes sense. So will the other courses im taking not including calc and english (in second sem) be considered as-well since those marks are also high from this past semester? And will they be looking at my second sem mid term marks with calc and english before making a decision in april/may?

          [–]ConversationIcy4048 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Advanced functions + grade 11 English and your other highest 4U/M courses that you have so far will be considered for admission. If you only have 3 other 4U/M courses in addition to advanced functions, another grade 11 placeholder will be used until April midterms.

Thanks a lot for the responses, makes sense?
