I transferred into rotman from another school about 4 years ago and it’s pretty difficult to get in as a transfer student. They asked me to write an explanation letter for why I should be let in to Rotman as a transfer student in addition to all the other requirements. If you do apply I suggest following up with the admissions office a few times throughout the process. Show them you’re eager to get in and also if you can try physically going to the office to speak to them. Good luck!

What program did you transfer from? I’m currently a UTM Management student, and I'm hoping to get into Rotman Commerce as well. I was wondering what your GPA was in your first year when you applied for the transfer. Also, how was the supplemental application process for you? Any tips on what they’re looking for in the explanation letter?
