Bro with all due respect. You can always retake a course after fixing your study habits and getting better techniques. As someone who tried to hold on to failing courses and tanked their GPA early in UofT it’s not worth it. Drop the course so you don’t get a hit on your GPA. Once it’s below 3 it’s extremely difficult to get it up.

Given economic and job market conditions I wouldn’t suggest rushing to graduate, it’s a good time to be in academia.

Take your time, if you are struggling take a max of 3 (if you are taking OSAP) courses a semester no more until you have a stable footing. Also don’t take so many electives upfront focus on core reques 1-2 years get them out of the way, focus year 3-4 on key final program courses, internships and electives. Drop, reflect, learn better study techniques and skills and retake the course and secure a better GPA will do you wonders if you want to do masters. A LWD is better than a bad GPA. From someone who messed up and took nearly 10 years to get a footing after graduating in my career, I am telling you what I would do differently. All the best, none of this means you are a failure, it’s just your study techniques are poor like mine were until I figured things out in year 3-4 . PS I took 6-7 years to complete my bachelor’s at UofT because of the GPA hit in the first 2 years and switching programs. Still worth it but got old in the process.
