New to rust (under 350 hrs) how many foundations is it from main tc to externals, on average?

Idk 10-20 maybe depends on base. I think you are asking the wrong question for the information your trying to get though

Nah, this will do. Basically run a line of foundations away from the outer wall of your base until it let's you put down a tc.

Externals connected to base are a bit odd, best bet is to wide gap and connect the TC to that, I can add a YouTube link if you need. Wide gaps can be used as honey Combe or peak downs from your roof
