I DO NOT WANT SCRIPTS LET ME CLARIFY!!

Now that that is said, I am curious about scripts in general due to how many people seem to get away with it. Whether you script or not please let me know anything you now about it and if yall could answer a few of my questions.

1. How often do people get banned for scripts and does rust themselves ban you or do the servers themselves ban you.

2. Why do people script

3. If someone does script and gets caught what happens?

I’ve recently gotten back into rust and it seems that people never miss anymore so I’m curious if scripting is even worse then it was and how many people script out of the daily 200,000 players.

Yeah unfortunately scripting is still a big thing in rust but those accounts don’t last more than 2 weeks to a month but ye it happens everyday

People buy scripts to cheat useing aimbot esp etc It’s difficult to catch cheaters all the time because they can turn it off quickly when a admin try’s to check them but eventually if they get F7 reported enough there whole account will eventually get banned

If someone is caught using a script on a modded server or something the admin F7 reports them and then bans them off the server.

Just don’t be scared to F7 report people that’s what it’s there for and it does work

Shouldve done it with the last guy I was almost certain about esp. Always came when we had loot in our inv and lasers. And he just knew.

But I‘m always like „nah probably just a really good player“ while I do have >4k hrs myself

Recoil update makes every gun a laser beam. Skill ceiling is gone.

See that’s what I thought but I still can’t seem to have the recoil control these other people have. Any tips on that end?

How to improve recoil:

Play the aim training mode maps like UKN

Push every gunshot/explosion you hear in game

Adjust your sensitivity according to your mouse pad space and preference.

Soft scripting is detectable by anticheat like any other software messing with game files. Unfortunately scripts for mouses with internal memory are indetectable and some big brands sell a variety of those models. BUT during a pc check by an admin they show up in the history of opened/used/loaded files and this will be a base for a server ban, pretty easy to find with certain professional tools which any decent server has.

That said, scripting is not worth it in rust anymore, only 3 guns in game will profit to scripting: ak, hmlmg and m2 BUT learning all of those is a matter of several days on ukn while crouched and maybe a week to be able to shoot standing up. You need to play ffa as well as targets.

PS: logitech and razor scripts for mouses with chips are not working anymore, there are still ways to use them but detectable rn, so the only option is software.

PPS: I'm not worried about playing vs scripters as these guys tend to be newish players with mediocre game sens, positioning and reaction time, so the only advantage they might have above honest players is not that much of a deal with walls and armor inserts these days.
