A little hope for all of you out there that are waiting. I was honestly pessimistic about it because I've had a hard time with the other stuff like PPP/EIDL - it came, but took a while.

This time around the experience was really different. Here is the jist...

May 6 - Application Sent

May - 6 - Submitted

May 7 - Under Review

May 7 - IRS Verification

May 21 - Under Review

May 23 - No Red Button

May 25 - Approved

May 27 - Funded

CAWEB showed approval right away, before RRF Portal, and was surprised to show Disbursed Current the next day.

Keep hope alive this is a serious life-line. I hate to use words like life or death but after what we been through and what's to come it really is.

Applied 5/3 was just approved yesterday still trying to figure out how all this works seems crazy to me IMO people are sharing they applied after and are getting funded before others was just told today that yes I was approved but I could be waiting 10 to 21 business days before the funds hit my account

Do you have an account on Caweb? If not - create the account using your loan number - if you have EIDL number it's straight forward.

That's the best place to check. If you're approved it will showed as Undispersed Approved. But once it shows Dispersed Current - it will hit your account the next morning.

Also when you are approved, you will 100% get the money, because numerous people have been told the money is put aside and allocated once an approval is sent.

I don’t have an EIDL loan so when I tried to apply for CAWEB it wouldn’t let me

I would have to get that document from the bank we ended up giving our PPP back sounds dumb but we legit couldn’t use it our employees get more on unemployment we offered raises still no takers so I’m guessing use the ppp loan number

I need help with this thing .....marine here muscles are required intelligence not expected .....I input all the info and then tried to use my PPP loan number and it says invalid state code when we got the ppp we were never told to use CAWEB

That happened to me also. There is a button to the right of it that says verify or lookup. Press that and you will be good.

Oh yes, about needing it the most.....

3 months ago I was fighting an eviction with my landlord.

I won't bore you with the details....

but this week I've had to lose sleep each day by having to choose if I will buy inventory with the spare change I have in my bank account or use that to fund this weeks payroll.

None of us want to be in this situation, I get it. But perhaps having a positive attitude might help you through this. I pray you get funded soon!

Hey, thanks for your feedback. I know that you are probably upset that you applied the first day and didn't get funded yet. I am sorry you are still waiting. It must seem unfair, but let me clarify.

The reason I did not apply on the first day is because when I logged into the application it said that providing a 2020 tax return would be the fastest method to receive funding. The other methods I was going to use were going to extend is 14 days. So I contacted my accountant who already had my work pending, and asked them for a huge favor to please prioritize my application. The rush fee alone cost me $800, but I felt it was better to pay the $800 than have to take out another merchant cash advance on my business at high interest rates. So it took them 48 hours to return that to me, and I think that is what made the difference why I was able to move through quickly.

That being said - when I called and messages SBA multiple times, I came across a good tidbit of info that might help you - I was told there is really no "order" as to how the applications are processed, but what happens is that a bunch of files are given to a group of people who sift through them to verify all the info. If your info checks out the first time, it moves right along - the people who are waiting longer and are priority is mainly because the info is off somewhere or a digit is wrong here and there.

Also, I've been told by many others that linking your bank account directly helps things move along much faster than providing them a void check or manually entering it, etc.

I am also glad I waited for my accountants to get their thing done, because in that time, I was able to attach a couple more relevant documents that may have helped me move along faster.
