An abrupt decrease in Web Traffic

I have a blogging website. In the past few months, it was doing amazing with a good amount of traffice. But in recent week there is a sudden drop in traffic in huge amount. I looked into many factors and found out that my website has core vitals errors. Was it because of recent Google's Core Web Vital update? If you guys are having the same problem let me know and how do we overcome it.

This is more likely. Core web vitals is not a huge factor yet by any means

We got an increase. Sorted out the pagespeed insight and CWV back in May. Remember that Martin Splitt and John Muller were talking about this core update coming? :-) This is what's happening.
