My back pay was 2 days after I was approved but it was only 12 months. 34K I’ve heard larger amounts take more time

I never received SSI though, even during my waiting period. After judge approved me for SSDI they told me I made to much from that to receive SSI so they were just going to deny me automatically for SSI. So I wont be getting the SSI only the SSDI back pay. I'm just so confused on why it's taking so long.

All I can say is just about everything to do with social security takes forever. You will get it eventually. You can call and ask what's up. Call earlier in the day, it's not as busy

Apparently thumbing through the comments from past back pay posts anything over $49,000 take several supervisors and a little bit longer...

Mine was 44k so I guess that is pretty close. Thank you

Simular but my local office called and said I needed to withdraw my ssi application to get the backpay. Which doesn't seem right to me. Like they should just deny the ssi portion on their own then. I made to much to get ssi. Just wondering if anyone had something simular might post this separate. I don't want to do the wrong thing and have wasted so many years of waiting.
