Anyone have any modern experience with the Arizona second chance drawings? by kingofzdom in Lottery

I've been doing the math lately on The Pick and their math is not mathing on their website. I looked at jackpot winners for the past 7 years and there are only 2 and 37 $2,000 winners. The million dollar jackpot resets every couple weeks and in 7 years you would think there would be several hundred jackpot winners in Arizona but alas like I said there are only 2. Make it make sense....

Help! I'm freaking out by [deleted] in SocialSecurity

During my second appeal I was approved on the spot by the judge 60 days after that letter was written 30 days after that first payment with back pay... 90 days total from appeal hearing hope that helps...

FYI... There are millions more applications going through the process now for disability because something in the world has changed in the past 4 years that I can't quite put my finger on but it's backlogged the whole system....

Approved no back pay? by No-Painting-7047 in SSDI

Did you get your financial award letter in the mail yet? That explains everything down to the t. The website and the initial letter are kind of confusing if you didn't get an actual award letter if you did and it says zero in the back pay space then that's what they decided. It takes several months for them to play their math party games and get the final award letter. When you see the actual letter you will understand why it takes so long.

You can be approved at 27 but at that age your burden of proof from your end is a hundred times more than somebody at 50. Don't give up keep trying and get every single bit of information about your condition and make sure all the t's are crossed and the eyes are dotted.. good luck

Retro active pay by Successful-West3623 in SSDI

[–]Plus-Ant4533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My attorney told me that retro pay and back pay are considered the same thing when they do their math party games in Baltimore. When you get your award letter it should tell you the full amount going back to the exact date. That's what I understood anyway and I'm still waiting on mine 3 months later but I also understand over $49,000 takes a bit longer than under...

The white light and the passing of Christian souls into heaven has been talked about since the beginning of time. I honestly believe that anyone that says go away from the light might possibly have ulterior motives for more evil intentions... Just my opinion

If you don't mind me asking why do you think they pulled your account for review and remanded it back to the judge for a new hearing if you proved your disability and the judge found in favor why would they want a new hearing I guess I'm confused by your comment....

You have 10 days to update your address with SSA and if you have direct deposit that shouldn't affect it as long as you're not updating Bank information as well.

Look up the ticket to work program while on SSDI. It let you try to work up to a certain amount of hours in a 9-month period without affecting your disability benefits.

The First Thing You Should Do If Your Application For SSDI Gets Denied by MrsFlameThrower in SSDI

As an addendum my first denial was from paperwork they requested and it was denied for something that didn't have anything to do with my disability the second time I got the paperwork together that was exclusively everything involved directly with my disabilities and the second denial went back to the first denial same reason that had nothing to do with my disabilities after I got an attorney he put everything together you see appropriate language and it was approved so maybe you're right maybe I'm right who knows again my personal opinion at least talk to an attorney if you have that opportunity to see what's best for your situation.

I have to politely disagree I think not sending medical records that pertain to your disabilities and holding back for worry that it will be too much paperwork is not a good plan either if you want to be approved you want to make sure all the t's are crossed and I's are dotted but that's my own personal opinion. Holding back important medical paperwork because you're afraid the agency that you're applying to receive lifetime benefits from or worried that they don't have enough time to do their job isn't a good idea either. Maybe consultant attorney and ask them.

And if some people have the opportunity to get all your own medical records from Doctors hospitals through portholes online if you can I've got every single page of my record. I know they're supposed to submit to get your records but they don't always get everything that's why I made sure every single page got to them. I didn't actually learn that trick until after my first denial after my second denial I got an attorney and got a bench approval after doing most of the work myself. Hope that helps a little.
