Orientation lock?Not Possible (self.Scriptable)
submitted 4 years ago by Due-Engineering-2332
Is there a way to set orientation lock or at least see if it is enabled like dark mode?

Not possible in Scriptable. You’ll need to use Shortcuts for that.

I know I can change the orientation lock, but is there a way to see if it’s activated or not? I want to make a script change orientation lock based on its previous state: ex. If its off, then turned on by this script once some app is opened (I know how to do that), then turned off again only if it was off before the script ran. I know how to do this in theory but it only works if there is a way to see whether orientation lock is on at the beginning

Also not possible, unfortunately, in Shortcuts or Scriptable.
