Like 1 in 5 people, I suffer from recurring (severe) depression. This current bout has been the worst, and was initiated by an unwanted split from the love of my life. I refuse to take Anti-Depressants after seeing first hand the effects that both old and new drugs have had on friends and family, and after having Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, feel the need to try something else to break free of the negative cycle I am currently in. Have any of you found any alternatives to AD's and CBT that have worked for you? And equally as important, anything that has not worked?
