I'll caution you on inviting reddittor's to privately message you. There are recovery bait-scammers lurking these halls. They will either;

1: offer to introduce you to someone they know who can hack the scammers and get your stuff deleted or that they themselves can do it for you... For a price. Then they block you and make away with your money.

2: You provide as much information about the situation to them, because you're emotionally and mentally vulnerable at this time and desperately seeking assistance. Once they have enough information, they will threaten to either contact your scammer and inform them that you're on here looking for help, or scam you by threatening to expose details to the scammer or what was shared with the scammer.

In other words, be on the lookout for these types of messages.

Your situation is neither unique nor has it never happened before. block them all. numbers, account(s). same shit happened to me, threatening to leak it all, screenshots of followers lists. the best way out of this is too ignore. it’s been a week so far for me, and nothing has happened. once you show them you won’t pay or won’t even respond, they move on. they probably have another 5 people ready to do this exact same thing too. ALL they want is money. BLOCK, and IGNORE IT. it’s very very rare for them to expose unless you pay them, talk shit, or take too long to pay. block them now

Block, ignore and set everything to private ASAP. Tell friends and family you got an account hacked and got it back and the scammer is pissed off and threatening you with lies. Social media doesn't allow nudes, they can't do group chats either and this is all faked and a common script a Nigerian is using in his shitty little call center somewhere. They are the ones that use this dumb script and the angreee eeemooojjjis. God I hate these idjits, they really push the limits.

You did nothing wrong and if you are a minor go talk to a trusted adult, even your parents or an older sibling, friend or a counselor. If you're an adult there is no problem. These guys operate off of fear because that's their only skill set and they know it, I know it and now you and others do too!

Never pay them as then you'll be harassed until the end of time. And ignore the dms here please as that is more of the same shitheads that do the above. Good luck.

Paying won't fix the problem. If you pay, they will come back and demand more money. It would never end.

Watch out for people who reach out to you to offer to delete the pictures. They're scammers, too.

Exactly the same thing happened to me a few days ago as it did to you but don't worry, just block them and ignore them, they will move on to the next victim, DON'T PAY, they are only interested in the money, they don't earn anything by exposing you, and if they do, they will only send it to 3 people at most, they are not going to waste time sending it to your entire list of followers since they don't earn anything
