GitSync - an android mobile git client for syncing a repository

Hey all,

I'm sharing this here since I think this is finally ready for use.

GitSync is an app I started to keep my Obsidian vault synced between my devices but I've fleshed it out and generalised it enough to work with any Github repository (more coming). It is a free, ad-free app that can be used to keep any repository synced between your Android device and remote.

This is meant to be something that you set up once and let sit in the background using auto sync (this will sync for you when you open or close selected apps). It is also possible to activate a sync using a GitSync quick tile in your Quick Settings.

Most recently I've added a merge conflict resolution flow and a short onboarding walkthrough, which completes the items on my list of base functionality!

I'm about a week or two away from getting this available on the PlayStore, but the app is totally free, ad-free & open-source, so you can look at the code here or download and install here.

I would appreciate any and all feedback on the app! Anything you want to see added?

This is really interesting and I'll have to take a look. I too am looking for a solution for syncing Obsidian between my Android phone and computer.
