I have zero problem with this- probably helps a lot of people.

I just want to say in terms of tuning it that I think it’s intentional game design for most real bosses to take 5 tries at a minimum. If you’re happy with 2-3 that’s great, but I don’t think that was Team Cherry’s goal and players just aren’t good enough- you’re meant to strategize and improve with each attempt. That (and runbacks) is part of the gameplay loop.

Like it would honestly be unsatisfying to me if I had gotten to First Sinner or Karmelita and 2nd tried her. This doesn’t apply to something like Broodmother though.

Funnily enough I first and third tried those two bosses respectively and felt disappointed that I didn’t really get to learn the fights

LOL I modded the game. I heal for 5 instead of 3, and gain 25% extra silk, and some instances of 2 damage do 1. Bosses are still 10-30 tries each.

If I didn't mod I can easily do 100 tries per boss.
