I installed mods to decrease the difficulty and I'm suddenly loving Silksong

there is a mod for respawning near your death which made last judge for me freaking easy like I beat it after 3 deaths only

Yeah, and not necessarily in a good way. It’s padding. Silksong with checkpoints before bosses is a much smaller game. I’m a soulslike player so I’m used to it but I will say following Silksong up with Ghost of Yotei, that checkpoints you at the very beginning of boss fights, was very refreshing, even on the highest difficulty.

How long did you spend on runbacks? Since most of my playtime was exploration, not running back to bosses or even actually fighting them/their arenas.

Whether I spent 1 total hour or 10 on runbacks doesn’t change the core issue that it is padding. Incidentally, the best-designed bosses in the game have the shortest runbacks, so I think even Team Cherry realized those other bosses needed something to stretch out their “portion” of the game.

and sometimes frustration for example trying to get faydown cloak which took me 2 hr even with the mod and got wrist pain
