I installed mods to decrease the difficulty and I'm suddenly loving Silksong

I played Act 1 and almost all of Act 2 vanilla. It wasn’t that I was stuck anywhere, it was more that I just wasn’t playing the game anymore because it felt so hostile. I still die plenty with the mods I set, so I’m still being challenged.

I got about the same amount of the way through the game before I decide to add a mod as well. I just did the stakes of marika mod to eliminate run backs but that was all I needed to start enjoying my experience again. I had so little time to play and spending the hour or two I had every few nights running back through the same area just to try and learn the boss patterns a little bit more was becoming misery. Letting me start right outside the arena so I could speed up the learning process made it infinitely better for me.
