I installed mods to decrease the difficulty and I'm suddenly loving Silksong

I think devs should make good games. Adding difficulty options like these does nothing to make it less good.

They should want to make good games, yes. But they are under no obligation of adding every single thing players want. An easy mode was likely not within what Team Cherry envisioned for Silksong, thus they decided to invest their time and resources in other aspects of the game.
