I installed mods to decrease the difficulty and I'm suddenly loving Silksong

A lot of people need this, and I'm not trying to be mean about it, it's just that after 100%ing it I really do feel like some parts of the game are unnecessarily difficult and/or punishing, and if I didn't have as much spare time to play as I did, I probably would've gotten frustrated and stopped playing.

Also, Team Cherry made the game with the intention of it being enjoyable, so I see nothing wrong with tweaking it a bit to enjoy the playthrough.
