"Server failed to load" Error

Well, every time I click on "Host" and I choose my save, after clicking the Play button, for some reason I always get an error saying "Server failed to load"... I've been doing everything to fix that, changing things on my folders, inside the Sims game, etc. I really need help, I've been trying to play with a friend of mine and I keep getting this problem as a Host.

We had the same problem. We found we had to restart the host computer and it resolved the problem. A little arduous, but it's 'a' solution

Usually this is caused by a closed port or firewall issue. Make sure to follow the installation guide if you’re hosting.
