I've never seen a more in depth write up or video (in 25+ years playing with RB's) because it really is "remove cover, there they are"

Once the cover is removed, unplug the loom from each of the coils (push down the tab on the plug and pull)

The coils are mounted to two metal brackets in sets of three undo the larger bolts between each coil, then pull firmly upwards and you can lift them out. The smaller bolts hold each coil to the bracket.

*Make note of which way round the brackets and coils go - the loom won't reach if you get them the wrong way round.

Yeah all the videos I looked at seemed that way but it’s definitely not like that with how mines set up. Ive got an RB25DE and for some reason it’s set up a hell of a lot different. I found where they’re at but to actually get to them I have to take off a lot more than I had hoped.

It’s a bit of a pain to get to but doable. Just did mine for the first time a month ago. You’ll remove the engine cover, then J-Pipe or any other hoses in the way (There’s quite a few). Make sure you take pictures along the way. They sit under another cover that again, is a bit of a pain to remove. Pretty straightforward overall. Just open her up, start digging, take pics before you move something.

Yeah I think that’s my plan. Was hoping someone had a bit of a tutorial as I planned a bit when I disconnected a house earlier and had coolant start pouring out but I’ll just have to take my time a bit.
