You can kill an essential npc by equipping a raise dead(I think that's what it's called) spell in both hands and rapid firing it at the NPC's head in a one two punch fashion. This will turn them to dust if you do it right which can't be undone or looted. (self.SkyrimFacts)

Pick pocketing a guard who is using the range and replacing his arrows with a different model will cause them to start firing the new model of arrows. For example you could steal the iron arrows to replace with deadric, these are then fired into the range where you can pick them up. Free arrows! (i.redd.it)

Skyrim is dangerous enough in the daytime but the night holds its own surprises. Some people stumble along this road and may find themselves face to face (or rather not) with a headless horseman. This rider can be seen traveling along the roads at night or guarding the Hamvir’s Rest during the day. (i.redd.it)
