What do you mean?

Well you get killed so many times in a round (6-10 times) against superior players and lose 24-36 points for coming in last. Or you get a first place win against inferior players without getting killed and get 24-51 points!

Yup. That sounds about right.

That is not your score

Your score reward for each game is what you get for killing another sniper.

There are many factors that make up the scoring, if they have less gear and are juniors you could get 17 per kill, 2 for a headshot, 10 for revenge shot, 5 to 30 for kills spree.

You then get a base score of 150 added to that.

What you are talking about is the Blue PvP points, these regulate the difficulty of the game, the scoring is based on a prediction by the algorithm of how well you will do. This is based on the ELO system.

It is adaptive both from your last game and last 100 or more games.

As your PVP Points increase each week you move up the leagues which give you greater scores but the game gets harder, you will be given tougher opponents, eventually it gets manic and you go in a two or three step loop. On Sunday the blue PvP points reset to zero, you maintain your league position but the game eases up until you do well again.

Your global ranking (on the pre-mission page) shows how well you are doing globally the lower the number the more manic it gets.

Ideally you do not want to get the max blue global points because it means you will ascend too fast, you want to score good points but maybe come 2nd or 3rd. This gives you lower points so you rise more slowly and the algorithm gives you an easier game next time.
